Strickly Villages is a Christmas Village Re-Sale Hobby Shop that carries a variety of village brands including Department 56, Lemax and Heritage Valley and countless more. The name honors the memory of a good friend and college professor, Clarence "Strick" Strickland who would display an extraordinary village in his home year round. Strick, a long time resident of Tyler, Texas and retired theatre professor from Tyler Junior College was a well known figure in the community. Every year, on December 26th, Strick would host “Beans and Cornbread” in his small home where one entire room would be set aside to display his magnificent Christmas village. Strick’s love for Christmas villages and his creative and detailed displays inspired me to start my own collection in 2005. Every year I add more in hopes that one day mine will be as impressive as his. Throughout this journey I have found immense joy in purchasing, selling and trading pieces with friends acquaintances and strangers and am excited to and proud to carry on his legacy and love for all things village

Just finished up a custom classic Christmas build and staging! Loved curating this start up village for a wonderful family! Thank you to SuperTex Remodeling Services in Tomball for building this custom table! Conveniently high enough to keep curious little fingers out of reach❤️🤪

Had a great time at the Big Top Night Market at the Valley Ranch Shopping Center! A huge shout out to Earl for doing all of the heavy lifting and keeping me company and helping with customers. This would not have been possible without him♥️. And a big thanks to Billy for keeping Earl company🤣.

Well I FINALLY got it all finished! It was definitely a labor of love and mourning. I tried to make it as “Strickly” as possible. I know it doesn’t do his justice as far as spacing and realism but it’ll do for this season. Love you old man.
