Grand Oaks Fishing

🎣 1st Fishing Tournamnet! 🐻🧡

Out of 138 boats, THREE of our Grand Oaks Fishing teams made it onto the leaderboard! 🏆🎣 We couldn’t be more proud of ALL of our anglers and the hard work they put in on the water!

👏 A HUGE shoutout to the people behind the scenes who helped make our first tailgate of the season so special!

🧡Lumpkin family — thank you for taking care of our tailgate food and all the logistics that kept everyone fed and taken care of!

🧡 Danielle Sellers — thank you for putting together the angler goody bags and making sure our anglers felt appreciated!

And, of course, hats off to ALL of our anglers, captains, and GOHS fishing families! It takes an incredible team effort to make these tournaments happen, and we are so grateful for everyone's support.

🎣 GOOD LUCK, GRAND OAKS FISHING! 🧡💙

Wishing our anglers and their families safe travels as they head to Lake Palestine for the THSBA Tournament on Saturday! Go get ’em, Grizzlies! Tight lines and good luck! 🐻

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the GOHS Fishing Team at our Spirit Night on 9/11! Whether you dined in, grabbed takeout, brought your family, or simply helped spread the word, we are so grateful for your support.

🎣 THSBA Boat Captain Profile 🎣

Boat Captains are a vital part of every THSBA tournament. If you plan to serve as a captain this season, make sure your profile is completed and that you meet all eligibility requirements.

✅ Boat Captain Requirements
• Must be SafeSport Act Certified (certification is valid for 2 years).
• Cannot have worked as a fishing guide on the tournament lake within 30 days prior to the event.
• A guide is defined as anyone who has accepted any form of compensation for providing information on locating or catching fish.
• Cannot be actively competing in the Bassmaster Elite Series, MLF Bass Pro Tour, or National Professional Fishing League (NPFL).
• To captain at a THSBA Regional Championship or State Championship, you must have served as a Boat Captain in at least one THSBA Open Tournament during the current school year.

📱 Complete your Boat Captain Profile through the THSBA App.

🛡️ SafeSport certification details can be found under the Background section of the THSBA website.

📖 These are some of the primary requirements. For the complete list of eligibility requirements, exceptions, and responsibilities, please review the 2026-2027 THSBA Rules before registering.
