The Relentless Lifestyle standard — no guilt, no extremes, no BS. I felt like all I was was mom, housekeeper and chef.....there was no fulfillment for me.
First and foremost, I'm a wife to a wonderful man, we have twin girls and they are the reason I do what I do! After suffering from postpartum depression and the monotony of washing 16 bottles a day and changing as many diapers, keeping up with the house, cooking, cleaning, etc, I lost myself as a woman. I slowly climbed my way out through exercise-it became my outlet. I did all the things and most of them, wrong. I was your typical cardio queen, all or nothing mentality person. It worked, for a while. You can only do that for so long, trust me. Longggg story short, I went after my personal training certification and a few years in, started my own business. I have been training clients out of my home gym for years now and love it! Since completing my personal training cert, I have gone on to claim many more. I am also a Corrective Exercise Specialist...think rehab. I love helping people come back from surgeries or injuries and having them leave here better than they came in. My main focus (and my favorite if I'm being honest-which you will always get w/me.) is my Health Coaching practice. I trained many many clients over the years but always felt something was missing. My clients would do so well as long as they stuck w/their workouts and ate what I told them. Invariably, life would happen, holidays came, weekends, etc and they would fall off the wagon I knew something was missing. It's the mental aspect of improving your health.....we don't realize what an important role it plays. If we don't change our daily habits and get to the root of our issues, nothing will change. I love digging in with my clients and helping them figure out why they do the things they do (defaulting to crap food, bingeing on the weekends and other forms of self sabotage). The awesome thing is, there is no diet or meal plan or crazy scary changes that have to be made. We can make these changes through teeny tiny little changes in our day to day habits that eventually lead to a healthier lifestyle-no more dieting or starting over! If that's something you struggle with, let's have a convo. Seriously, I'll be the first person to tell you if I think you'd be better suited elsewhere.

So a new client of mine had life throw her a curveball and she had to put her training on hold. Totally unexpected, totally out of her control, and I'm holding her spot in my heart (ha) but not on my calendar.
Which means I have a 2-3x week morning slot open.
And I don't say that often because those AM spots almost never come open. When they do, they get snatched up.
Here's who I want in it.
You're the mom who has every single person's schedule memorized. Practice times, dentist appointments, who needs cleats, who forgot their lunch. You can tell me what everyone in your house needs this week without looking at a calendar.
Ask you what YOU need and you've got nothing.
You've been "getting back to it" for a couple years now. You know what to do, you're not clueless, you're just last on the list. Every time.
I'm not going to hand you a 5am routine and a meal plan and make you feel like garbage when life happens. I've got twins who play everything, I own a gym, I get it. We work with the season of life you're actually in.
What I do need from you is to show up for the half hour (or hour!) that's yours.
So if you've been waiting for a sign... this is me sitting on your couch telling you it's your turn.
Message me. Spot goes to the first mom who's actually ready, not just thinking about it.

Sunday night concert. Before a work day AND a school day, because apparently we make great decisions.
Yes there were drinks. Yes there was concert food. And yes, I was dragging Monday morning, ha.
But here's what I didn't do. I didn't wake up and decide I needed to "get back on track." I didn't skip breakfast to make up for it or plan some extra punishment workout. I got up, downed some caffeine, got to work, and ate like I normally do.
Because honestly? 12 years ago I would have worked out extra hard and drastically reduced my calories the next day because that one night out would've turned into "well I already blew it" and then the whole week was shot.
That's the part that keeps so many of us stuck. Not the drink. The all-or-nothing that comes after it.
The moral:
-One night out doesn't undo anything
-Beating yourself up over it does way more damage than the nachos ever did
-If your plan can't handle a Sunday night concert, it's not a plan you can actually live with
And yes I'm standing there in my socks and not Insta worthy outfit. I.do.not.care. 😝

In case you were wondering...it's still not making itself.
If you hate cooking like me, let me help you.
Stop over complicating it.
I honestly didn't care if anyone ate last night. Not that I don't care about my family, I was just knee deep in work, we were all on different schedules, not hungry at the same time, blah blah blah.
Mom guilt won so I opened from frozen meatballs, boiled some protein pasta, heated up leftover broccoli and called it good.
Everyone ate. We moved on with life.
I legit hate cooking. I do it out of necessity. Sometimes I make nice, Sunday dinner type meals. Sometimes.
Most days it a pre-prepared protein thrown together with whatever side stuff we have in the fridge/freezer/pantry.
Fruit is always readily available in our home too. Always has been. You can even find our bonus kids helping themselves to whatever fruit we have out.
If you love cooking, I love that for you and welcome anything you want to deliver to me. But if you're like me, stop stressing about these fancy recipes and things that take an hour out of your day to make.
Grab the frozen meatballs. Open up a canned veggie. You got this!

If perimenopause had a face.... 🤣
This is how my 45 year old self handled the concert last night. Was it ridiculously hot last night? Nope. But my internal oven said otherwise for a bit. Thank the Lord for personal sized fans. Yes, it's resting in my tank top and no, I could not care less what you or anyone else thinks. 🙃
Some days I feel amazing. Other days I wake up and my body is like "surprise, we're doing something different today." Sleep is wonky. Energy is a coin flip. Workouts feel great one day and like I'm dragging a car the next. But honestly, even with that, I feel pretty damn good. I can do all the things I want to do and I know it's because of the boring basics that I follow. So I take it all in stride. Perfection isn't my thing.
The basics I've been doing for years:
Protein at most meals
Lifting heavy (as appropriate for me) weights
Walking (when it's not 100º outside)
Water
Trying to get sleep even when my body doesn't cooperate
Saying no to things that drain me
None of it is perfect. Some weeks I nail it, some weeks I'm just showing up. But it's there, so when my hormones decide to throw a tantrum, I'm not starting from scratch. I'm just adjusting.
That's the whole difference. Life is going to get chaotic. Hormones are going to do their thing. Kids, work, stress, a husband who chews too loud, all of it. You can't control any of that.
The moral?
Build the boring basics BEFORE you need them. Or, if you're already in the thick of it, start now. It's not too late.
Stop expecting your body to act the same at 45 as it did at 25. Adjust and keep going.
Buy the fan. 💁♀️ LMK if you want the link.
Where are you at with all of this right now? Tell me I'm not the only one sweating through my shirt.

I had a client tell me something today that stopped me in my tracks.
I asked her, point blank, what SHE wanted. Not for her kids. Not for her husband. Not for anyone else in her house. Her. Her body, her health, her life.
She just sat there. She looked away. She couldn't answer me.
And I see this constantly, y'all. Women who can rattle off every kid's schedule, know exactly what their husband needs, run the entire household in their head... and can't remember the last time they asked themselves that question.
You've been on the back burner so long you forgot you're even allowed to want something for YOU.
And then we wonder why "eat better, move more" never sticks. It's not a discipline thing. You can't prioritize something you don't even believe matters anymore.
I told her straight up — you matter. Not after the kids are grown. Not once work slows down. Not "someday." Right now, exactly as busy and stretched thin as you are today.
That's not selfish, girl. That's the whole foundation. Everything else gets built on that.
So when's the last time you actually asked yourself what you want?
Saw this floating around: “Never skip a Monday workout. Win Monday, win the week.”
HARD PASS.
I get the sentiment, I do. But this is exactly the kind of s**t that convinces people not to start at all.
And can we kill the word “skipped”? I didn’t skip a damn thing. I chose what my body actually needed that day. There’s a massive difference between skipping and prioritizing, and “skipped” carries this guilt trip like you did something wrong.
I didn’t. I made a call.
Perimenopause doesn’t check the calendar before it wrecked my sleep last night. She was like, Bitch, I know you’re tired but you are absolutely NOT sleeping tonight! Forcing a workout on top of zero sleep isn’t discipline, it’s just dumb. So no, I’m not working out today. I will tomorrow. And I do — because that’s the difference between rest and giving up.
I don’t train 6-7 days a week either. I built it that way on purpose, so there’s room. Room to rest without spiraling into a story about how I “fell off.” A rest day only turns into a rest week when you don’t have a foundation under you — when the plan was so rigid there was no room to bend in the first place.
That’s the real problem with “never skip.” It’s not motivating, it’s brittle. One hard week and the whole thing shatters because there was no give in it.
Build something that can bend. Rest when you need it. Show up when you can. That’s how you actually stay in this for life, not just for Monday.
Hope that helps 💕

Okay but can we talk about how intimidating a gym floor can feel when you don't know what you're doing so you wander aimlessly around the gym or try to follow some plan you found on social media?
I get it. I'm a mom to two very active twins, I run a gym with my husband, have my own training/coaching practice and I still remember what it's like to walk in somewhere new and have zero clue where to even start.
That's actually my favorite person to work with — the woman who knows she needs to be lifting but has no idea where to begin. Or the former athlete who used to know exactly what she was doing and now feels like a stranger in her own body. Either way, I got you.
My whole goal? Get you to a place where you can walk into ANY gym, anywhere, and know exactly what to do and how to do it for YOUR body. Not mine. Not some generic program. Yours.
And no, I'm not locking you into some year-long contract. Stay a month, stay a year — whatever fits your life right now.
If that's you, let's talk. I've got two spots open for 1:1 in person training right now. 👇
