Start Genetic co-founder Jenny Graham Beeson shared her family's genetic testing story to highlight the importance of genetic testing and periodic re-evaluation as genetic testing technology advances. As she shares, her family initially received inconclusive results for her daughter since whole exome sequencing was not yet available. Over time the technology advanced and connected Jenny's family with an accurate genetic diagnosis for both her daughter and her son, who also experienced significant developmental concerns.

Jenny's story was featured alongside two other genetic testing stories -- including Eliza Goldwasser's story about her son's diagnostic odyssey and Dr. Richard Finkel's perspective as a provider who has witnessed firsthand the impact of genetic testing. Stories like these are incredibly meaningful and empowering for families that are still searching for answers.
