This speaker, Baroque Quintet, was featured at our Speaker Design Competition and its design and sound blew us away.

🔊 Speakers Tuned through tapered convergent flues – ported through F-Holes.

🔊 Hand woven thin Zebrawood cones, individually shaped for each speaker.

🔊 Layered alternating wood grain formed cabinets reduce unwanted resonance frequencies.

🔊 Overnight Sensations by Chai H.

This builder's goal was to create a unique-looking speaker with good clarity across the frequencies and enough bass to not need a standalone subwoofer.

“This was a fun project to create a speaker system for a house built on a former sugar cane plantation near a beach."

🔊 All enclosures are solid hard maple wood with bracing except for the subwoofer. 1” thick MDF with heavy internal bracing and then skinned with half inch thick hard maple panels.

🔊 The system needed to play to full audio spectrum as well as deliver deep powerful bass for movies.

"The bass is very clean and the system looks awesome during hour as the sun is setting on the beach!”
