Meet Harry, Jess and their crazy crew.

After 9 years of doing lawn care and landscaping with a company, Harry decided to make a leap of faith and venture out and do lawn care and landscaping on his own. Harry loves community and helping take care of the people in it in any way possible. He truly loves to paint pictures and play in his customers yards

Jess has worked in healthcare for 13+ years. After 7 years in the oncology department, Jess switched to her now hospice team that she has been for the last year and a half where she serves the Springfield and Bloomington area communities. “Healthcare is something that I’m so passionate about, it truly fills my cup to help be able to take care of patients and families of my community at one of the hardest times of their lives.” says, Jess. Jess is also the person behind the scenes at The Grass Guy making sure all needs and expectations are met.

When Harry and Jessica aren’t busy with their works schedules and being in the community, you can find them running after one of their 4 kids Maddison, London, Paisley (the pistol of the crew) and Preston.

At The Grass Guy, we understand that customers have their own unique needs for their home and how important lawn and landscaping maintenance is to each person.

You can always expect to be greeted with a smile and genuine interest in understanding what your interests are.

Whether you’re looking for thoughts on projects, a one-timecut/clean up or full-time service, our team is here to help you every step of the way. We believe in community and having strong relationships with our customers. With being a small, family-owned business in the community we understand how important family is. You may find Harry and Justin out cutting your lawn or playing a game of ball in the yard with the kids after your lawncare services have been met. We are so honored to be able to work with this community.
