2026 Ozarks Lunkers Team MVP: Craig Travis III

Our final award of the season is Team MVP.

This award is about the total body of work: performance, consistency, dependability, leadership, and the overall impact a player had on what we were able to do as a team.

For the Ozarks Lunkers, that player was Craig Travis III.

Craig was the glue for this team. He led the right way, showed up ready to work, pushed the people around him, and did whatever was asked of him. No matter the role, no matter the situation, he found a way to make an impact.

He was a great teammate, a dependable leader, and one of the most important pieces of this team all season long. On top of everything he brought as a person and a leader, he produced on the field and continued to make plays when the Lunkers needed them.

Lunkers 2026 Co-Offensive Player of the Year: Emery Bryant Jr.

Our first Co-Offensive Player of the Year is a fan favorite, and for good reason.

Emery Bryant Jr. has been through a lot, but the belief in him has never changed. He is a great football player, a great teammate, and someone who continued to show up for this team in a major way.

This season, Emery took on a big role and made an impact in multiple phases of the game. He created plays as a receiver, gave the Lunkers a weapon in the return game, and even stepped in at defensive back when the team needed him.

With his speed, elusiveness, and ability to change a game in one play, Emery was someone every opponent had to account for.

That does not go unnoticed.

Lunkers 2026 Defensive Player of the Year: Daniel Charles

Our Defensive Player of the Year was a leader for this defense all season long.

Whether he was playing around the line of scrimmage, dropping back in coverage, or making plays on the back end, Daniel Charles brought technique, physicality, and confidence to everything he did.

DC plays the game with a certain swagger, but he backs it up snap after snap. He was dependable, competitive, and made his presence felt in every phase of the defense.

Now a two-year award winner, and well deserved.

Retro Metro Lunker of the Week: Jake Swirple

Jake Swirple brought it every single snap.

At center, he blocked his hardest from start to finish. When the team needed him on the other side of the ball, he stepped in on the defensive line and kept battling. Jake came in these last two games and made a real difference for the Lunkers.
