Springfield's non-profit bike shop: that means we work to get people where they wanna go, not to make money. A bike is a beautiful thing. It provides transportation, positive health outcomes, and independence to its rider. Fixing a bike is a beautiful thing. It requires and develops mechanical understanding, persistence, and confidence. Springfield is beautiful.

We keep teens busy! They learn real skills in bike repair, customer service, tools, inventory - all while giving back to the community and learning from our technicians (who BTW were also RAD Teens way back when!) We need bike donations!! Do you know we refurbish and circulate about 150 bikes a year back to the community? 🤩 Lots of happy RAD rider out there! Check the corners of your garage, your friend’s garage and Grandma’s garage 👵🏽! We fix ‘em up and find great homes for your old bikes.

We’re hiring! MassBike is seeking passionate & engaging part-time cycling instructors to implement our “Safe Routes to Schools,” bicycle education clinics, workshops, group rides & other events across all 5 regions of the state.
Instructors will also work in local schools and community centers to host both on-bike and presentation-style safe cycling education. Our learn to ride education programming starts at K-1 and continues all the way to adults and seniors throughout Massachusetts.
