Hey GCC women... Testimony Night is coming up! This time, we’ll get to enjoy the beautiful fall colors in a beautiful setting. 🍂

Mark your calendars - we’d love to see you there. It’s going to be a special evening together.

Join us THIS Sunday, September 6, at 10:00 AM for a special one-service Family Sunday! We look forward to gathering together as one church family for a morning of worship, fellowship, and fun.

Following the service, we'll transform the auditorium into our dining area for a church-wide potluck. The main dish and drinks will be provided—we simply ask that each family bring a side dish or dessert to share.

After lunch, we'll head out to the hill for a giant slip & slide, yard games, and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy time together. It's always a wonderful chance to build relationships, make memories, and celebrate the community God has given us. If you plan to enjoy the slip & slide, don't forget to bring a towel, a change of clothes, and anything else you'll need to get wet and have fun!

Men's Encounter: 48 Hours of Life-Changing Experiences

Men (18 years & older) from all walks of life, can experience the power and freedom, paid for by Jesus on the cross. There are 14 different sessions. Each session has a time of praise and worship, true life testimonies, teaching from God’s Word and a time of personal reflection. All teachings and testimonies are spoken by ordinary men who tell of their Encounter with our extraordinary God!

Cost should never be a barrier to attendance. If you can pay your registration fee, great! If not, GCC has scholarships available to cover your cost. Payment can be submitted at the time of registration, or in person at check-in. If you cannot pay your registration fee, select 'Pay in Person" AND "Pay later".

We’re excited to announce some exciting youth events coming up! But before that, here are some insights to kick off the new year… A short message from our Youth Minister - Levi Moberg (drumroll please):

“We are rebranding Glendale Christian Church's Youth Ministry to "The Table.”

In the Gospels, Christ often refers back to the Kingdom of God as a great banquet that invites all in to enjoy the presence of the king. As we are preparing to relaunch the youth ministry in full in a few weeks I have consistently found myself drawn to the image of the table as a metaphor for what a successful ministry looks like.

This rebrand comes with several commitments that we (youth minister + volunteers) want to layout for you:

- At The Table your student is invited to participate in a community that is centered on the person and teachings of Jesus as the perfecter of our faith

- At The Table all students are welcomed to bring their pain and struggles and feelings as we seek Jesus together

- At The Table your student is encouraged to be invitational and bring their friends and family to find the healing grace of Jesus in the company of believers as we reach to a broken and fallen world

We hope that you as parents will continue to partner and pray with us as we seek to follow Christ's direction for this ministry.”
