Last week, our team at the operations center in Springfield, MO came together for a heartwarming cause, crafting 71 cozy blankets for The Child Advocacy Center, Inc.!

On the United Way Day of Caring, an incredible team of 28 associates from the operations center rolled up their sleeves and dove into action at Victory Missions! Together, they dedicated hours to meticulously auditing and sorting through a vast warehouse brimming with thousands of items. Their hard work not only helped streamline Victory Missions’ operations but also amplified their ability to give back to our communities. What a fantastic way to make a difference!

After 50 remarkable years in banking, Montie Taylor, the man, the myth, the legend, and vice president/senior relationship manager of Great Southern Bank, is set to retire! Although we are saddened by his departure, we are excited for the fantastic experiences that lie ahead for him in this new chapter of his life! 🥂

• Never provide security codes sent to your phone or email to anyone, even if they claim to be from the bank.

• Be cautious of unexpected calls, text messages, or emails that create a sense of urgency or pressure you to act immediately.

• If you receive a suspicious communication claiming to be from the bank, hang up and contact your local banking center directly or contact our customer service team at 800-749-7113.

Protecting your financial information is a top priority. Staying vigilant and verifying requests before sharing information can help prevent fraud and identity theft.
