This month's Core Value Spotlight is Doing the Right Thing — and Jacob Johnson lives it every day. During a recent install, Jacob discovered the field measurements didn't match the cabinetry specs. Staying on schedule would've been easier, but it would have meant compromising the final fit. He paused the install, communicated with the client, and had the affected components remade — because a finished product you can't stand behind isn't finished. That's Doing the Right Thing, even when it's not the easy or fast path.

Soup season, baking season, hosting season; this pantry is built to keep up. This beautiful pantry features Stevens Woods material and brings open shelving, pull-out baskets, and enough counter space to actually prep on, not just store. There's even room for an overflow fridge. Nothing about fall entertaining should mean digging through cabinets to find the stock pot.

Stacking the washer and dryer did more than save space; it made room for a sink and dedicated basket storage in a room this size wouldn't normally allow. Cabinetry runs floor to ceiling, which keeps the room feeling open rather than boxed in. Crisp white throughout makes the whole space feel bigger than it is. Every square foot here is working.

Grain-matched rift white oak in a honey stain, paired with a sage green tile in shifting tonal shades. The warmth of the wood keeps the space feeling grounded; the cool green keeps it from feeling too heavy. Floating the vanity was the final touch; it lightens the whole wall visually while keeping every inch of storage. This is what happens when material choices and construction details work together.
