We loved our stay at this hotel. Our room was vibrant and colorful. The bathroom made me seriously consider renovating our own. And popsicles at check-in? Yes, please!
We spent our days lounging by the pool at Lylo Swim Club , and we spent our evenings enjoying sunset cocktails at Don Woods’ Say When on the rooftop.

Shoutout to the best local airport, Springfield-Branson National Airport. It took longer to walk from the parking lot to the front door than it did to walk through security! 🙌🏼
We booked an Allegiant Air flight from SGF ➡️ AZA. We loved how convenient it was. We packed carry-on bags only. There was plenty of overhead bin space, and they had complimentary beverages, which was new since the last Allegiant flight we took.
We landed at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. This was about 50 minutes from our hotel in Phoenix. We rented a car on Turo, but more on that later.

We’ve been to a lot of resorts with great food, but this has by far been the best.
1️⃣ Impression Isla Mujeres
This is the resort we’ve visited the most. We keep thinking each new resort we visit will knock this one out of the top spot for food, but three years later, it’s still our Number 1.
We’ve got some exciting resort trips coming up! Including one people keep telling us will be our new favorite for food… 👀

We were hosted by Rise Uptown Hotel for our stay in Phoenix. It was the cutest boutique hotel!
Everyone’s talking about fall, but we really enjoyed soaking up the last days of summer in the pool Lylo Swim Club .
We had such a great time in Phoenix. It was the perfect weekend getaway!

We’ve been to a lot of resorts with great food, but this has by far been our favorite.
From room service to poolside snacks, this resort didn’t miss the mark once.
This is the resort we’ve been to the most, and a big reason we love it is the food.

This resort had excellent food!
2️⃣ Sandals South Coast
It’s temporarily closed for renovations, but set to reopen November 18!
We really loved the Rondoval Suite at this resort. The room service was so good, we didn’t want to leave the room! 😂
We highly recommend the brown stew fish for breakfast, and we loved everything we tried at Eleanor’s.
Can’t wait to share which resort we ranked Number 1!

I could NOT have done carry-on only travel for the past 6 months without this backpack.
This Calpak Terra 26L travel backpack has become my go-to for flights, road trips. Basically all forms of travel!
It opens like a suitcase, has SO many pockets, and somehow holds way more than you’d expect from a backpack.
And it’s cute! I wanted a functional travel backpack that didn’t look tactical or like I was about to go hiking for three months. Cute + functional? I’m in.
It even fit in the TINIEST overhead bin on the OLDEST American Airlines plane I’ve ever been on. I was fully prepared to have to gate check it like everyone else on the flight. 😂
If you’re looking for a carry-on travel backpack that’s functional, organized, and still looks good, this is it.
