Ultrascreen – Mobile Cardiac Screenings for Youth Athletic Heart Health Ultrascreen delivers professional, mobile heart screenings for teens and young athletes, aiming to detect structural heart conditions and prevent sudden cardiac arrest with care and convenience.

The launch of the Ultrascreen Foundation as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit opens the door to something much bigger than us, it creates an opportunity for our community to ensure more students have access to potentially life-saving cardiac screenings, regardless of their ability to pay.
We're actively looking for sponsors to help bring screening clinics to local schools. Whether you're an individual, family, business, or organization, your support can directly impact the lives of children in our communities.

We’re officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! 🫀🫀🫀🫀

Today marks a major milestone for the Ultrascreen Foundation and the mission we've believed in from the very beginning, that every child deserves access to a potentially life-saving cardiac screening, regardless of their financial situation.

As an official nonprofit, we can now accept tax-deductible donations, and every dollar given goes toward expanding access to screenings, educating families, and bringing our mobile clinics directly into local schools.

We're looking for individuals, families, businesses, and community partners who want to make a lasting impact by sponsoring school screening events. One act of generosity could help identify a heart condition before it becomes a tragedy and give a family answers they never knew they needed.

Exciting news!!! We will be back at Northwestern for another clinic on Saturday, August 8th! This will be available to book soon so stay tuned and mark your calendars. This event will be hosted by NW but other students from surrounding schools are able to attend.

We have a new sign-up system launching for this event that will make our process much more easier to register, pay, and fill out consents and waivers all in one quick swoop. 🙌🏽

Another public event at Long Road Crossfit will be also happening that week. We are excited to get back into the swing of things (although we are not rushing summer 🌞).

We are excited to share that the Ultrascreen Foundation is officially moving forward as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity (pending approval)! Please give the additional page a follow.

This new chapter will allow us to expand our reach, build community partnerships, and provide screenings at no cost to families through the generosity of donors and supporters.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to have their heart checked, regardless of circumstances. This is a huge step toward making that vision a reality.

Every Heart Matters By Ultrascreen Foundation

This tragedy was preventable. An echocardiogram, which is PAINLESS AND NON-INVASIVE, would have caught this. Women under 55 are disproportionately misdiagnosed and up to seven times more likely to be sent home from emergency rooms without proper cardiac testing. Insurance doesn’t cover preventative cardiac testing because hospitals and insurance companies get rich off of sick people. We WILL change the way cardiac care works, Ultrascreen aims to protect our younger population in hopes they change the way they take care of their heart health and listen to their bodies throughout their whole life and not just when something critical happens. ❣️

One Year of Ultrascreen!! 🫀

This month marks one year since Ultrascreen officially made its debut to the public.

Over the past year, we have had the privilege of meeting incredible families, working with dedicated community members, and most importantly, helping local children gain access to cardiac screenings that may identify heart conditions before they become life-threatening. Every child we have screened, every family we have met, and every conversation we have had has reinforced why we started this mission.

As many of you know, our goal has always been simple and transparent: bring accessible cardiac screening services to local youth and help bridge the gap between what insurance covers and what families need. We believe every child deserves access to preventative cardiac care, regardless of financial barriers and family history.

While we are proud of what we have accomplished so far, this first year has not been without major challenges. One of the most difficult obstacles we continue to face is gaining access to local schools. Despite countless outreach efforts throughout Champaign and Clark County as well as many surrounding communities, we have received very limited, if any, responses from schools. Whether our information is not reaching the right people or the importance of preventative cardiac screening is not yet fully understood, the result is the same, many students who could benefit from these services are never given the opportunity to learn about them.

Parents have been incredibly supportive of our efforts, and for that we are deeply grateful. However, for our mission to continue growing and reach the children who need it most, we need stronger partnerships with our local schools.

We are also excited to share that we are currently in the process of creating a nonprofit entity. This next step will help us expand access, reduce financial barriers for families, and continue our mission. To everyone who has supported us during this first year, whether by scheduling a screening, sharing a post, volunteering your time, or simply encouraging us, thank you. Your support has kept us moving forward.

We are excited for what the future holds, but we cannot do it alone. If you believe in the importance of Ultrascreen, we encourage you to help us start conversations within your schools, athletic programs, and communities. Together, we can ensure more children have access to the preventative care they deserve.
