There is a difference between governing and posting.

Social media can be a useful way to communicate with constituents, but it is not a substitute for showing up, listening to people, answering difficult questions, and working to solve real problems.

Every elected official should be willing to explain their votes, discuss the issues affecting their district, and engage with people who disagree with them respectfully. That is part of public service.

Voters deserve representatives who spend as much time focused on results as they do on headlines. We should expect transparency, accountability, and leadership that is measured by accomplishments, not by likes, shares, or viral posts.

Over the past few months, I have had several conversations with friends, supporters, and people whose opinions I genuinely value. One suggestion that kept coming up was something I had not really considered. They encouraged me to ask those who still believe in what we stood for during my campaign to consider writing in my name for Illinois’s 15th Congressional District.

Whether you choose to do that is completely your decision, but I believe it would send a powerful message to both political parties that the people are ready for something better.

For far too long, politics has been about picking a side instead of solving problems. Too many elected officials spend more time protecting their political careers than fighting for the people they were elected to represent.

This is not about left versus right. It is about right versus wrong.

It is about honesty over headlines. Service over self interest. Accountability over excuses. Results over rhetoric.

I have always believed that leadership means showing up, listening, answering tough questions, admitting when you are wrong, and making decisions based on what is best for the people, not what is best for a political party.

I have never wanted to be a rubber stamp for Republicans or Democrats. If either party has a good idea that benefits our district, I will support it. If either party is wrong, I will call it out. My loyalty has never been to a party. It has always been to the Constitution, to the people of this district, and to doing what is right.

A write in vote is more than a vote for one person. It is a statement that integrity still matters. That independent thinking still matters. That elected officials should work for the people, not the political establishment.

If you still believe in that vision, I would be honored to earn your write in vote. Together, we can remind Washington that public office is a public trust, and that trust belongs to the people, not the parties.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to believe in me, encourage me, and stand beside me. Your support means more than words can express.

Being a Republican has always meant believing in individual liberty, personal responsibility, and limited government. I can hold those values while also treating my friends with kindness and respect.

I do not have to agree with every choice someone makes to care about them as a person. Friendship is not political. Respect is not surrendering your principles.

At the end of the day, I believe government should stay out of people’s private lives as much as possible. As long as two consenting adults are not hurting anyone, especially children or animals, it is not my place to tell them how to live.

You can support conservative values and still tell your friends, “I care about you, and I hope you are happy.”

That is not weakness. That is being a decent human being.

Happy Pride Month to my friends. We may not agree on everything, but I will always choose respect over hate.

Pride Month, to me, is about more than celebrating our differences. It is about celebrating the people we care about and recognizing the value and dignity of every person.

I am not ashamed or afraid to be a Republican who supports Pride Month. I believe life should be celebrated, even when we do not agree on politics, ideology, or personal beliefs (Mary Miller).

To all of my friends, whether you celebrate Pride Month or not, Happy Pride Month. Know that I am a safe ally. If you ever need someone to talk to, if you are struggling, or if you simply need support, my door is always open and judgment free.

At the end of the day, I believe in treating people with kindness, respect, and compassion. Love is love. As long as people are consenting adults and no one is being harmed, I believe everyone deserves the freedom to live authentically and be treated with dignity.

We may not always agree, but we can still choose respect, friendship, and humanity.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone across Illinois’ 15th Congressional District who has been impacted by the recent tornadoes and severe weather. These storms have caused significant challenges for many families and communities.

I may not be on the ballot right now, but make no mistake, I am still in this fight.

I am still meeting with people across our community, still listening, still working behind the scenes to push for real solutions that actually matter to everyday families. Titles come and go, but commitment does not. And mine has not changed.

I believe in personal responsibility, strong local businesses, safe communities, and a government that works for the people instead of against them. No matter who is in office, those principles should not be negotiable.

As a business owner, I have seen firsthand that opportunity does not come from politicians. It comes from hard work, from customers, from people willing to take a risk and build something. Government should support that, not stand in the way.

There is still a lot of work to be done. I am not stepping back, I am stepping forward in a different way. Staying engaged. Staying vocal. Holding leaders accountable. And continuing to fight for what is right.

Because this was never about a position. It is about the people.

While I did not win, I am continuing to work behind the scenes to find ways to put the district first and create meaningful change across the district and throughout the state of Illinois. I remain committed to fighting for the people here.

As I shared in my last post, I did not win this race, but I am not stepping away. I am already reaching out to the people who supported and stood with me to start preparing for what comes next.

I plan to announce another run in July. In the meantime, I want to continue building something meaningful with all of you. If you are interested in being part of this next chapter, I will be creating a WhatsApp group for long term coordination, support, and growth.
