Dahlias, definitely dahlias. Am I the only one?

No sooner than I emptied all grow racks inside to start hardening off did a crazy storm blow through. Had to bring every plant back inside as the wind was breaking stems. 😩 Now every flat surface in my house has plants again!

Hapet Old Charm putting out roots in 6 days like a champ! Took a cutting before I went out of town and came home to the cutest baby.

This guy has taken up residency between a couple grow bags and the rockwall. He’s eating the grasshoppers so I guess we can be friends. He better stay out of the flowers or we are going to have a problem. It’s pretty fascinating to watch him go in and out of his tunnel.

Blooms are coming in fast now!

Love my dahlia besties! I’m sorry I haven’t posted all my happy mail this year but I love every package!! Lots of happy Lee’s cultivars heading to the garden!

First dahlia of the season goes to KA’s Guava. Not a perfect bloom since it’s still so early. I can wait to have an armload of blooms soon!
