As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we are proud to highlight one of our Network members, Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project- MICA Project, whose work provides critical legal services and advocacy to empower immigrant families in our community.

The Network was proud to support Beyond the Backpack alongside Normandy Schools Collaborative, Beyond Housing, Sneakers with Soul and so many partners committed to helping students and families across the 24:1 start the year prepared and connected.

On July 23, we had our third session of our Nonprofit Sustainability Series, focused on 24-hour matching campaigns. This meeting explored strategies for engaging donors, maximizing fundraising efforts and building stronger relationships that support long-term sustainability.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Network staff and volunteers came together to pack more than 2,500 backpacks for the annual Beyond the Backpack event on August 8. Thank you to everyone who dedicated their time over the past two days to help prepare for this event.
