I’ve been to Chicago what feels like 1 million times (good problem to have!) and have eaten at so many restaurants and after somehow snagging a reservation at NAIA a few weeks ago, it quickly became my FAV.
This trendy riverfront spot has only been open a few months and offers the best Mediterranean food. My top picks:
Tableside Hummus
Crispy Rice
Wagyu Skewers
Reservations open two weeks out at midnight and fill up FAST!

Today, 25 years later, we remember. ❤️💙
If you’re in St. Louis, you need to see Flags of Valor at Art Hill in Forest Park. More than 7,600 American flags cover the hill, each representing a life lost in the War on Terror, with names, photographs and dog tags that turn an overwhelming number into individual stories.
This powerful memorial is only displayed once every five years and 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11. It’s free and open to the public through September 13th
And tonight, September 11, there will be a reading of the names at 9:11 PM at Art Hill.
If you’re a St. Louis local, add this to your list today. Bring your kids, take your time walking through the flags, read the names and take a moment to remember.

Louisville, Kentucky is the perfect little weekend getaway from St. Louis with kids and honestly, I think we found a new quick family favorite!
If you’re looking for a trip that feels like you actually GOT away without spending half the weekend in the car, save this one!
Our Louisville weekend included:
• Churchill Downs + Kentucky Derby Museum
• Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari
• Big Four Bridge + Waterfront Park
• Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
• Family-friendly restaurants
• A downtown hotel that made getting around super easy
And the best part? Louisville is only about 4 hours from St. Louis, so you can leave Friday morning and still pack A LOT into a weekend.
If you’re heading to Louisville with kids, put the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory on your list, ASAP!

NYC, we LOVE you!
12 days in this wonderful city with my family was a dream. Being there so long we felt we were able to fully immerse in the city and enjoy ourselves & were dreaming of already going back!

Happy Easter (a day late) from Cabo!
3 years ago we started a new family tradition by spending Easter weekend add a family of 4 in Cabo. This spot had been one of Mike and I’s favorite places to visit on kid free trips and we wanted our kids to experience to fun, culture and beauty of Cabo too. It has quickly become one of our favorite family traditions and I hope to continue this for MANY MANY years!
& if you’ve ever been to Cabo to know . It is a 25 acre working organic farm in San Jose Del Cabo. It is known for Floras Field Kitchen, where they serve all Farm to Table meals and where we ate Easter brunch. However; it also has a spa, organic market, culinary cottages (yes you can stay here!), yoga sessions, cooking classes, farm tours, playground, shops and so much more!
