🔨 TUESDAY BUILDER'S PERSPECTIVE 🔨
The Strength You Don't See

People admire the paint.
Builders admire the framing.
Nobody walks into a home and compliments the blocking behind the walls, the fasteners, or the foundation. Yet those unseen things are what keep everything standing when storms come.

And life works the same way.📌

No one celebrates concrete curing.
No one takes pictures of framing before drywall.
Most people only admire the finished product.
But builders know the truth.
The hidden work is what holds everything together.

📌Healing.
📌Discipline.
📌Consistency.
📌Boundaries.
📌Integrity.

Those things aren't glamorous, but they carry the weight when life starts testing the structure.
Character is built long before it's recognized.
Anybody can decorate a house.
Not everybody can build one.

And the same applies to people.📌

So if you're in a season where it feels like nobody notices the work you're doing, remember this:

Foundations aren't designed to be admired.
They're designed to carry weight.
Because when the pressure comes, pretty won't hold you up.
Strong will.

🌊 After my ocean cleanse, I decided to build the Pyramids of Giza. 🤣🔺️

The builder in me sees opportunity everywhere. Hubby looked over impressed while I engineered these masterpieces with nothing but sand and my slides. No shovel. No problem. 😜😁

When you live by the ocean, random construction projects just happen. 🏖️🔨

Today, I simply give thanks.

Happy Father's Day to my husband.🧘🏾‍♀️💫🏗

The man who entered my life and became the father my children needed when others intentionally chose not to be. The dad who showed up during the years that mattered most. The dad who sacrificed, provided, taught, protected, and loved as if they were his own.

And although our own little ones didn't make it into this world, he remains the kind of father I would choose again and again for every child in need of a real man to guide them.

Ancient wisdom says, "The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him." — Proverbs 20:7

And integrity is exactly what I've witnessed.💫

I've also witnessed the dominance of biological DNA and it's influence.
It overrides everything🙏🏿.

Love isn't and has never been proven by money or material possessions.
Love isn't bribery.
Love isn't manipulation.
Love isn't turning children against their mother.
Love isn't resentment disguised as guilt.
Love doesn't spew hatred toward the people who did the hard work.
Love doesn't encourage children to weaponize systems.
Love doesn't believe every accusation simply because immaturity recognizes immaturity.

A healed man could never compete with another man's sacrifices while ignoring his own absence.
A healed man would honor the village that raised what he abandoned.
A healed man understands that fatherhood is not biology.

Fatherhood is presence.
Fatherhood is consistency.
Fatherhood is accountability.
Fatherhood is love.

And love is patient and kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It keeps no record of wrongs. — 1 Corinthians 13:4-5

So today, I celebrate the man who chose responsibility over excuses, peace over chaos, and love over ego.

I love my husband.
I appreciate the leader he's always been.
And after all these years, I'd still choose him again.

Now excuse me while I take my King to the beach. 🥰🌊☀️
