My interview with back in my days...
It struck me that I could be making an RIP post for had it not been for the grace of God saying otherwise.
Cy recently survived an attempt on his life while driving down the highway on Atlanta.
So instead of waiting on tragedy let’s be reminded that brilliant, amazing people famous and non famous, need to be appreciated & givin their roses while they can still smell em! Cyhi if you see this I’m happy God spared you brother. We gotta meet again bro!

{A series of video clips that I took on a trip home in 2015 that I have never shared, but realize they are pieces of my story}
The Folks That Love You: My Black American Family.
The core of my Mother side of the family comes from East Saint Louis, Illinois. My Grandfather Rev. Dr. James Little Sr. worked himself out of an impoverished childhood thru Jim Crow, The Korean War, and the all the ills of the world to give our family a solid, clear foundation to build our lives upon. The hone he established with his wife, my grandmother Dorothy, has been the pot thats held the soil for our entire family. The snapshots were videos but IG aint letting me flourish, so I compromised so the narrative could continue. These are as my mother would say “The Folks That Love You (me)”. ❤️

Thank you for believing in me and knowing my heart. Thank you God for a bigger lens to see a bigger purpose. is on the way.
Earlier this year me and the team flew to Oakland to capture the essence of what I truly feel is the future of education and literacy with Cultural Relevant Literature. “Playing To Your Crowd” so to speak but in a way that doesnt patronize but engages students and elevates their literacy! Shooting and editing for this truly felt like being part of a SOLUTION!
