What we do: Accelerate Executive Leadership, Strategic Planning, Transforming Cultures, Organizational Strategies, Leadership talent and MORE!

Every leadership journey is unique.

Coaching doesn't provide a script for leadership. It creates space for reflection, perspective and intentional growth.

The result isn't simply stronger leaders.

It's stronger conversations, healthier teams and organizations better prepared for what's ahead.

Thank you to the outstanding leaders who allow us to be part of that journey.

Leadership isn't measured by the number of decisions a leader makes.

It's measured by the clarity they create, the accountability they foster and the trust they build through discussion.

Sometimes the conversation you've been avoiding is the one your team needs most.

Over the past week, conversations with several clients have centered on a common challenge: trust. It's one of the most complex, and most essential, drivers of sustained performance, collaboration and innovation.

Deloitte's 2025 Global Human Capital Trends research found that 72% of workers and 61% of managers do not trust their organization's performance management process.

Trust isn't built through policies or processes alone. It is built one conversation at a time.

To the exceptional leaders investing in this work every day: thank you. The conversations you choose to have today shape the culture, performance and employee experience of tomorrow.

Honored and grateful to have been invited by Marsh & McLennan Agency(MMA) to serve as the keynote speaker at their International Women’s Conference. Thank you to MMA and their partners Anthem Blue Cross and CNA Insurance for hosting this inspiring event focused on developing talent, cultivating culture, building high performing teams, inclusion, and engagement.

We were able to enjoy the beautiful
Missouri Botanical Garden, also a client we were inspired to partner with, and their incredible hospitality which made the experience even more special — a perfect setting to connect, explore, reflect, and celebrate the incredible impact of women in business.

There were key themes that arose during this event:

🔷 The importance of Succession Planning and developing talent early

🔷 Equipping leaders and executives with frameworks, objectives, and tools to develop the next generation of leaders

🔷 Continually evolving talent management processes to ensure they will support future needs

🔷 Internal mentoring is a powerful avenue for accelerating development and it further enhances mentors’ capabilities

🔷 Cultivating engaging cultures that are energizing and inspiring

Thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome and thoughtful conversations. It was a privilege to be part of such a meaningful event alongside so many talented leaders and companies across our region. Amy Kendall set the tone with her dynamic and visionary leadership perspectives and the room was filled with the inspiring energy of MMA, Anthem, and CNA.

Our sincere thank you to all.

A recent Bain & Company executive survey shows that 74% of companies view AI as a top-three strategic priority, and 21% say it is their top priority overall.

➡️ AI has clearly moved to the center of business strategy.
And as organizations elevate AI on their agendas, there is an equally important opportunity to elevate leadership alongside it.

➡️ As AI becomes central to strategy, organizations are strengthening the data, platforms, processes, and operating models that enable it to scale.

➡️ Technology investment is accelerating, and leading organizations are pairing it with clear decision alignment and strong governance to maximize impact.

➡️ AI maturity is both a technology priority and an opportunity to strengthen leadership, governance, and culture.

❓ While asking, “Are we ready to scale AI?”
leaders can also ask:
• Are we aligned on how AI will drive business outcomes?
• Is our organizational design positioned for the next 3 years of growth and innovation?
• Are our leaders equipped to lead in an AI-enabled environment?

At Performance Impacts, we’re seeing this as a defining moment—across client engagements and executive coaching—where organizations can align technology investments with leadership capability to unlock faster innovation, stronger alignment, and more sustainable growth.

The organizations gaining traction aren’t just modernizing systems—
they’re evolving how leaders think, decide, and lead. Karrie Carlin

Sports have a unique ability to bring people together — across communities, industries, backgrounds, and generations.

That’s why I’m especially grateful to the St. Louis Sports Commission for the opportunity to serve on its Board of Directors. I’m honored by the trust placed in me and excited to contribute to work that strengthens community, leadership, and impact across the St. Louis community and beyond.

I’m looking forward to contributing to the Commission’s work and supporting its mission in the months and years ahead.

✨ Still energized from speaking at SHRM St. Louis! ✨

What an incredible experience. Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to reflect, learn and rethink what leadership and talent planning looks like in an AI-powered world.

The room was filled with leaders who brought energy, curiosity, and openness.

One takeaway that stood out: the Human Edge has never been more important. Adaptability, connection, and curiosity will define the leaders of the next decade.

We are grateful for the conversations—and excited to keep them going. Your engagement made the session come alive, and your Human Edge Challenge reflections were truly inspiring to read.

➡️ If you were unable to attend, please feel free to reach out and we will send you the highlights.

💡 How are you strengthening the “Human Edge” on your team as AI continues to evolve? We'd love to hear your perspective.
