As we honor the labor movement, we have to honor the child care community.

American labor wouldn’t run without early childhood educators ensuring parents can go to work—they are the workforce behind the workforce! Yet, child care providers remain among the lowest-paid workers in the country. True labor progress means investing in the people who care for our children.

This Labor Day, let’s champion living wages, better working conditions, and public support for early childhood educators! ✊🏿 💛
