The Gathering is hosting our annual Trunk or Treat on October 24th! Come get some candy and entertainment. Please be mindful of scary costumes as this is a kid-friendly event. Make sure to save the date and bring your friends!

We've all said them. We've all heard them. On the surface, they’re comforting — but, if you dig a little deeper, many fall apart. Turns out, a lot of common Christian sayings aren't even in the Bible. And the ones that are get misquoted more than you'd think. It's time to fact-check our faith clichés. Join us as we take a closer look at the sentiments we've inherited, learn why they don't always hold up, and find some comfort in what the Bible actually says. Because the real thing is so much better than the cliché.

For 20 years, the Gathering has grown through pivotal moments of bold vision and increased generosity. Much Given. Much Expected. is a two-year initiative introduced in September, 2025, to fund the vision and mission of The Gathering.

Think of NEXT simply as a night out on us – we’ll eat some appetizers, share stories, and discuss what it means to be a part of The Gathering. You’ll have an opportunity to learn more about the church and ask questions about who we are. It is your opportunity to take the NEXT step.
NEXT takes place at our McCausland Site on Sep. 29.
Childcare will be provided, beginning at 6:30pm, at our McCausland church site.

Join us in celebrating an unconventional recent baptism!
Don (second to left) was ready to follow Jesus more closely and wanted to be baptized sooner rather than later. He made a house call -- or rather a "pool call" to Pastor Tim who baptized him in the back yard! Sometimes when you feel the nudge, you just want to act on it right away. Congrats to Don and his family!
