Selling 100+ products in a month is only hard when you’re trying to sell all 100 of them one at a time.

The goal isn’t necessarily to find 100 different customers for 100 individual products.

The goal is to increase the number of products each customer buys per transaction.

Now, this becomes harder when your product assortment doesn’t make sense.

You have a shirt over here.
A random handbag over there.
A pair of shoes that doesn’t go with either one.
Three different colors that don’t complement each other.
And absolutely no clear reason for a customer to buy more than one thing.

But when your products are similar, coordinate with one another, come in complementary colors, or naturally live in the same family, selling 100 units becomes much more realistic.

This is where two numbers matter:

Your UPT and your AOV.

UPT means units per transaction. It tells you how many products your customers typically purchase in each order.

If you use Shopify, ask Sidekick:

“What was my average number of units per transaction over the last 90 days?”

If your UPT is 1.2, your customers typically buy between one and two products…but they are much closer to buying one than buying two.

At a 1.2 UPT, you need approximately 84 orders to sell 100 units.

If your UPT is 2.4, your customers typically buy between two and three products—and they are closer to buying two.

At a 2.4 UPT, you only need approximately 42 orders to sell 100 units.

That is a completely different sales problem.

Next, find your average order value for the same 90-day period.

Then ask yourself:

If my customers are already spending this much and buying this many units, what do I want those two numbers to become?

Let’s say your target is:

* $72 average order value
* 2.4 units per transaction

That tells you your average selling price would need to be around $30 per unit. ($72 divided by 2.4)

Now you can choose which products you want to move, determine how they should be priced together, and select a sales strategy that supports the goal.

That might look like:

A bundle:
Buy the top, pants, and matching accessory together for $89.

Buy more, save more:
Buy two items and save 10%. Buy three and save 15%.

Volume pricing:
One candle is $24, two are $44, and three are $60.

Complete-the-look merchandising:
Show the dress, jacket, handbag, and earrings together so the customer can easily shop the entire look from one page.

An add-on offer:
After someone adds the main product to their cart, offer a complementary item for an additional $12.

That is sales strategy.

It is intentionally deciding how you’re going to get more units into each order—not uploading 100 products and hoping 100 different people each choose one.

One of my students sold $42,000 worth of OLD INVENTORY last month.

Only $6,000 of her sales came from new inventory.

Think about what that means.

She already had $42,000 worth of sales sitting inside inventory she owned.

She could have continued buying new products because she thought she needed something fresh to promote. But then she might have had the old inventory sitting there and a new pile of inventory tying up even more of her cash.

Your inventory is cash.

And before you spend more money buying something new, you need to ask:

How can I sell more of what I already own?
Which products naturally belong together?
How can I increase the number of units in each transaction?
What offer would make buying multiple products make sense?

You may not need 100 new customers to sell 100 products.

You may need a better assortment, stronger merchandising, and an actual strategy for getting each customer to buy more than one.

Most online boutique owners and product sellers make this really hard. It’s typically because they’re not actually working on the sales. They’re stressed about follower growth, engagement and their views being low. I stressed myself about website traffic, AOV, UPT and conversion rate.

2026 has ironically been the best coaching year I’ve had in the entirety of this career. Even if the economy that everyone is complaining about many of my students have made there way to consist 5-figure months.

If you want to know the biggest changes my students have made and the work that made a difference, comment “924” and I’ll send you the link to this playbook where I break it down.

Q4 is giving another $1 million minimum.

Sales strategy #1: Merchandising

Merchandising (noun): the activity of promoting the sale of goods, especially by how they are selected, priced, presented, displayed, and promoted.

In retail/e-commerce, merchandising includes decisions like:

* What products you sell
* Which products you feature
* How products are grouped or categorized
* Where products appear
* How they’re displayed or presented
* How they’re priced and promoted
* When particular products are pushed

So merchandising isn’t simply making something look attractive. It’s the strategic presentation and management of products to encourage sales.

For example, putting “Complete the Look” underneath a dress on a product page is merchandising. So is putting your best-selling products first in a collection, creating a “Vacation Shop,” bundling complementary products, or placing lower-priced impulse products near checkout.

Your store needs to be merchandised. But right now it probably just exists.

That’s just one thing you can do today that could help increase your sales.

You’ve tried everything and nothing had helped because everything you’ve tried wasn’t the actual solution to the real problem.

It’s nearly impossible to fix your business if you can’t properly diagnose its problems.

This is why understanding the business of e-commerce is really important, not just knowing the different tasks that need to be completed.

If you know something isn’t right with your online store and you can’t quite put your finger on it, comment PROFIT to learn more about how I can help you with that inside E-commerce Profit Plan.

Over the years my business acumen has matured substantially. And every time I find myself trying to get a client it feels like the greatest fight of my life.

That’s because most business owners don’t own the mindset of a business owner who really wants to succeed.

And it’s hard job to convince someone to want something badly enough that they’ll change their behavior to get it.

Every woman who I’ve ever worked with who went from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands and then hundreds of thousands had to change something about their behavior to get there.

If you’re ready to change your behavior and follow detailed instructions, come join us before EPP closes forever.
