Art. Meet ritual.

Twisted wood, hand-strung beads, subtle greenery, and a hanging lotus incense holder.

Still taking shape in my studio. The little details take their sweet time.

Art that earns its wall space.

Natural wood, preserved botanicals, and hand-strung beads and sea urchin spines on h**p cord. Every texture is part of the design—including the hooks.

Hang your jewelry. Dry small bundles of herbs. Add propagation tubes for your favorite cuttings.

I love creating pieces that bring nature into everyday routines. Something useful, a little unexpected, and entirely one of a kind.

Which way would you use it?

Currently in my studio. Possibly in your home next.

Each element brings its own shape, texture, and history. I let those details guide what it becomes.

Some pieces stay on my workbench for weeks while I move things around, step back, and move them again. A very glamorous process.

Hi, I’m Es—the founder, artist and slightly overactive brain behind Rooted in Peace.

I’m a mom of four, caretaker of five animals, wife to one very patient husband—and someone who has never walked past an interesting branch without bringing it home.

Nature has always been where I feel most like myself. Rooted in Peace grew from that love: creating modern preserved nature art that lets every branch, stone and botanical remain beautifully imperfect.

My new website is officially live. Come look around, meet the madness behind the moss and see what I’ve been creating.

Nature leads. I simply listen. 🌿

There’s beauty in slowing down, noticing the details, and allowing nature to guide us back to what matters most—peace, balance, and simplicity.

Stay grounded. Breathe deeply. Let nature lead.

I don’t begin with a blueprint—I begin by paying attention.

Nature is never perfectly shaped, predictable, or repeated, and that’s exactly what makes it beautiful. I follow what it gives me, changing and replacing elements as I go, trusting my instincts until something completely original comes alive.

This is my Imagination-Led Process: less control, more curiosity, and a willingness to let the materials guide the story.

Every piece begins differently because every piece of nature is different—and so is every person and space I create for. 🌿

There’s no perfect blueprint for creating something meaningful.

I make mistakes. I change direction. I take pieces apart and begin again. The more I f*ck up, the more I learn—and every lesson makes the work, the process, and the relationships behind it stronger.

That’s the heart of my Imagination-Led Process. I follow what nature gives me, trust the flow, and allow each piece to become something completely unrepeatable.

Real growth is messy. Real art is human. And the most beautiful things often come alive when we’re willing to let go of perfection.
