🚨WE'RE GOING SOMEWHERE EPIC.

This weekend, we're heading somewhere that has been whispered about, investigated, debated, and downright feared by people across the paranormal community.

Did you really think we were just going to tell you where? 😂 Nope.

All week long, we'll be dropping one clue a day, and each clue will reveal another piece of the history behind the place we're headed. By the end of the week, we're hoping you've put the pieces together.

🕯️ HINT #1
Long before this place became known for shadowy figures, unexplained voices, and countless paranormal investigations, people came there for a much more ordinary reason: they needed somewhere to stay.

Its early history is tied to the railroad era, when rail lines were transforming small Midwestern communities and bringing a steady stream of travelers, workers, and businessmen through town. The building served as a hotel during those early years, becoming part of a community that was still taking shape around the railroad.

Traveling doctors reportedly used rooms in the hotel as temporary medical offices, bringing medical care to the community when a permanent physician wasn't always available.

Pretty ordinary beginnings for a place that would eventually become one of the most talked-about paranormal locations.

So… do you think you know where we're going? 👀

Drop your guesses below!

Yesterday, beneath the watchful stones of the Historic Topeka Cemetery , beauty found its way into the shadows.

Among forgotten names, weathered limestone, and the quiet echoes of those who came before, we created something hauntingly beautiful—photographs where the living and the long-remembered shared the same frame.

Some places simply hold history.

Others seem to hold a little magic, too. 💜

At first glance, the Moeser Mausoleum looks like any other family vault along the Historic Topeka Cemetery 's Mausoleum Row.

But there’s something unusual about this one…

Nobody is actually buried inside it.

Edward H. Moeser purchased the mausoleum in 1896. The Moeser family names are engraved on the individual compartments, but the vault was never used. Edward himself is buried elsewhere in Topeka Cemetery, alongside his wife, Ida.

The Moeser brothers were prominent Topeka businessmen who built the Moeser Ice & Cold Storage business, which became an important part of the city’s early commercial history.

And while we're talking about beautiful Mausoleum Row…

📸 Our spooky/fall photo sessions are happening TOMORROW!

The weather is looking absolutely beautiful, and there are still a few spots available for anyone who wants their own portraits among the historic mausoleums of Topeka Cemetery! 💜

There are places where the past doesn't feel quite finished.

Behind every locked door, a memory.

And sometimes… behind the eyes of something forgotten, it feels like something is still waiting.
