Singing our National Anthem is something I never take lightly. 🇺🇸

Truthfully, it’s one of the most nerve-wracking songs I’ve ever had the honor of singing. There’s something about standing beneath that flag, hearing those first notes ring out, and knowing how much those words mean to so many people.

Then…the crowd begins to sing. 🎶

Voices of every age, every background, every walk of life coming together for a few moments and singing the same words. It reminds me of being in church, when a room full of voices could somehow feel bigger than the room itself.

Those are the moments that remind me why I love being a musician. Music has a way of bringing us together, even when we come from different roads.

This Saturday, 09/19, I’m honored to kick off the Navajo County Fair and Rodeo with the Star-Spangled Banner. I hope to see y’all there beneath the Arizona sky. ♥️🤍💙
