"It's positive".

That's what a nurse told me on the phone when I asked for Kate's biopsy results 2 years ago today.

Things have been anything but easy since then. The surgeries, chemo, and more uncertainty than anyone would ever want. I can't begin to explain how proud I am of Kate. I've seen her keep getting up every day, even when it seemed next to impossible.

Many of you know, cancer changes a family. It also shows how strong someone can be.

Today isn't "Kate got cancer 2 years ago". It's "look at how strong Kate is and how far she's come", and how grateful we are to be moving forward one day at a time.

GOOD NEWS!

Back with my old pal Meteorologist Stephanie Waldref for a bit while Dee takes a few well-deserved days off.

We go back a long time. Nice to be reunited for a few days!

OFF TO SCHOOL!

I forgot to post this last week.

We've got a 2nd grader and a flipping MIDDLE SCHOOLER!!! That's craziness.

But on the bright side, I can take a nap in peace for a bit when I get home from work!
