Wow! A date nut cake. This is something entirely new for me and I have to say, my beloved carrot cake has been pushed down to number 2. This is absolutely my new favorite cake! Not overly sweet, it has the taste of dates and brown sugar with a light crunch from chopped walnuts. Look how shiny that glaze it. So warm and comforting.
