A lot can change in a year.

When we first stood here, The Village was a plot of land and a vision for what could be.

Now, there are homes lining the sidewalks, front porches waiting to be lived on, and a community building taking shape at the center of it all.

Soon, these houses will become homes.

We’re grateful to have been part of this vision from the beginning and to watch it become something real.

And the best part is still ahead.

National Nonprofit Day

We believe the greatest impact happens when we work together.

Across Oklahoma, nonprofit organizations are showing up every day to feed families, support children, create pathways to recovery, care for veterans, strengthen communities, and meet people exactly where they are.

Our role is simple: find the people doing meaningful work and help them do more of it.

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we’re celebrating the organizations we’ve had the privilege of standing alongside and the countless others doing the work, often long before anyone is watching.

Support them. Volunteer with them. Share their stories. Give when you can.

Because stronger nonprofits build stronger communities.

It’s more than a slogan.

Every life transformed creates a ripple that reaches families, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

That’s why we’re proud to support organizations like Hope is Alive and invest in programs creating lasting change across Oklahoma.

A wish may last a day.

Last night, we joined Make-A-Wish Oklahoma as wish families gathered for an evening together at Tee P*e Drive-In .

Beyond the wishes themselves, events like these create something just as meaningful: a place where children and parents can connect with others who understand their journey.

We’re proud to support organizations that continue showing up long after a wish is granted.

A story reminds you why it matters.

Last week, John Wayne reconnected with a friend from high school whose life has been transformed through his recovery journey at Hope is Alive .

Hope Is Alive reports an 80%+ long-term sobriety rate among program graduates, but behind every number is a person, a family, and a future being rebuilt.

This is why we invest in organizations creating lasting impact across Oklahoma.

Today, we’re celebrating the fathers whose influence extends far beyond their own families.

The DLC Family Foundation was created to honor the legacy of Danny Christner, a father whose generosity and heart for others continue to shape this work today.

As that legacy carries forward through John Wayne Christner and the next generation, we’re reminded that the greatest gifts we leave behind aren’t things, but the values we pass on.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures making a lasting difference in the lives of those around them.
