Remembering the nearly 3000 lives lost on this day 25 years ago. I can replay that morning and remember every move I made as I watched and listened to the events unfold. I held our 18 month old daughter close and couldn’t wait for our 7 year old son to come home from school knowing we would be safe together. At the time, my husband worked in the city for Central Blood Bank and was not able to leave because they were afraid his services may be needed in the aftermath. We were glued to the TV for days.

Praying for peace for the families and the survivors.

14 years, to the day they met, KayLee and Skylar were going to the alter. Unless of course, you ask their son, who will say that he brought them to the alter! No matter the path, they found their way here with family and friends by their side. Mother Nature brought many showers for happiness on the morning of their wedding and gave us an afternoon filled with sunshine. Their ceremony was beautiful and personal. Everyone felt the love in the church. And, although there were some very special people missing from the ceremony, they were not forgotten.

Off to the reception and the party began! The dance floor was packed all night long with everyone breaking out their best moves. KayLee and Skylar ran to all the tables for a fun "Hello" and then back to the dance floor.

At first they wanted a small wedding, maybe even an elopement, however, I think everything worked out the way it was suppose to be... and they had a great time!

KayLee and Skylar, thank you for having me. It was wonderful getting to meet the three of you and capturing this special time in your lives.

My favorite season is back and I had a small window of time to catch my favorite team in action for two matches. First, a 2-0 win against Knoch and then a 1-1 split with OLSH. They went on to win the Canon Mac Tournament beating USC in the finals.

Way to go girls!!

Alexa and Josh - Today I Marry My Best Friend. What a wonderful day! I knew after we first met, that this was going to be a special wedding. When you get engaged at "The Happiest Place on Earth", you know it's going to be a good time. The wedding had so many personal touches throughout from Alexa converting her mom's wedding dress into her rehearsal dress, to her Nana sharing a shadow box full of memories both old and new. There was a personalized chest, Josh's watch and dance shoes, too. Uncle Ron performed their ceremony and the toasts were perfect! Alexa and Josh, I wish you all the happiness your hearts can hold. I know that you will have one another for all that lies ahead. Here's to your Happily Ever After. 💜
