Flood test Friday! Did you know, flood testing is an EXTREMELY important part of any shower installation? Flood tests ensure that a shower pan is water-tight, and leak free. Skipping this step can lead to disastrous consequences for both the client, and the installer. Little extra steps go a long way, folks!

Here’s a travertine shower pan repair we just completed up in Boulder. The client didn’t want to demolish the travertine shower because it matches well with the rest of the home, so we got the pan rebuilt & fully waterproofed, then found her a very close match to the existing travertine. My partner Milles Barden with White Mountain Tile made almost 150 cuts on the wet saw to create the tiles for the shower pan! He also fabricated the bullnose trim for the curb, and the walls. Lots of delicate work went into this one!
