Texoma Dog Ranch

😠 Oh my goodness I've already had four phone calls today people wanting to bring their dog to us and surrender their dog.... I literally don't understand it's Monday and already four calls. We have it on our web page ...we have it on our voicemail... we have it on Facebook... we do not/cannot take owner surrenders. We are not funded we dont have endless kennels. And yet people think we can just take as many dogs from them as we want.
( **voicemails stating hey I need to bring my dog to you I can't keep her anymore call me back**) Seriously 😠 Not sure people understand how rescue works and I've tried to explain it over and over but it goes nowhere. We have every single kennel full. it takes money to vet all these dogs... to do heartworm preventative... to do flea drops. I'm not sure where people think this money comes from because sadly it's not donations (please know we do appreciate your donations, I just want people to understand we don't get enough donations to run on while they absolutely help we cannot run day-to-day just on the few donations we get) or zero funding ( and like some other shelters and rescues might get.)

As a young lab mix, I'm not only sweet but also quite clever, making me a great fit for many families. I get along well with other dogs when introduced properly. Although I'm on the larger side, my gentle nature shines through. Would you be interested in meeting me?

Meet Laura. She came from boarding and hasn't been at the ranch long. She is a sweet girl but does play nip when she's excited. She likes most dogs but she is dominant. She is fully vetted. She is looking for a foster or adopter.

Minnie is a sweet girl and loves attention. She was rescued from being chained in a backyard and a bad situation. She absolutely loves people and likes to have a person with her all the time. She has had some training with the leash. ** She will need to be in an only dog home no other dogs** Preferably older children due to her energy. Her ideal family would be having someone at home the biggest part of the day with her and someone that would play outside with her. She just loves affectionately and really needs her forever home.
