Yes...this is the Brown Girls Project. But I am just outdone. Dolly Parton has passed and...I have no more words.

I immediately thought about her speaking out when Black Lives Matter first hit the scene. She made it clear where she stood.
I had to go look up the quote.

“I understand people having to make themselves known and felt and seen,” she said. “And of course Black lives matter. Do we think our little White a**es are the only ones that matter? No!”

Today would have been Nolan Wells’ 19th birthday.

Nolan was a college student, football player, son, brother, and a young man with so much ahead of him. He should be here celebrating with the people who love him.

As his family continues seeking answers, we’re holding them close today.
