Every session I work to bring awareness to the working climate of Missouri health care professionals with an emphasis on safe staffing levels for nurses at all acuity levels as well as safety for everyone in the hospital. It is a great honor to be endorsed by the Missouri Nurses Association and appreciate the advocacy they do to support nurses across the state. It takes teamwork from every angle to advance solid legislation to protect the people who save lives every day!

PROP O IS NOT A TEACHER RAISE. IT’S A PERMANENT TAX SHIFT SOLD AS ONE
Nobody is against teachers earning fair pay. That is not the fight.
The fight is that Prop O is being marketed as compensation and recruitment while the legal language hides the real change: a permanent operating levy.
Here’s what it actually does.
Prop O moves $0.1250 per $100 of assessed valuation from the debt-service levy into the operating levy. That is about $5.5 million every year — not a one-time amount. Once that 12.5 cents is in the operating levy, it does not sunset. Voters do not get another vote. It becomes a permanent tax.
Vote NO on Prop O.
Support teachers, but Do not lock taxpayers into a permanent levy so the district can shuffle money and come back for a bigger bond.

It is just about time to distribute yard signs!
While most HOA’s don’t allow them to be placed in the yard until 30 days before the election, I hope to get them in your hands ahead of time. I will be carrying a bunch of Yes on Amendment 3 signs as well, so please ask for one if you are pro-life and want to see that amendment passed.

Area Republicans: come visit and join the Saint Charles County Pachyderm club every Friday for lunch at 11:30 am at B Halls in the Monticello Plaza on South Hwy K, right in the heart of District 107. This is a great group of conservatives who gather to hear from local officials, candidates, and leaders about the issues that are impacting the lives of Missourians.
