ITAC Talent is the newly created division of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), the definitive voice of the information technology industry in Canada. We accomplish our mission by working together with visionary business leaders, educators and the public sector to develop and implement a national talent strategy and improve the availability and quality of post-secondary education in the country. We inspire young people to choose technology careers, help transform education to accelerate the flow of talented people from all backgrounds into tech, support diversity in the industry, and help shape public policy to support the growth of talent. How do we address the growing employer demand in Canada for AI talent? ITAC in collaboration with founding partners , Canada , and Future Launch has unveiled the AI Pathways Initiative which encourages student interest in AI technologies with the chance to further their career in technology.
ITAC is proud to launch the MadeByAI contest which provides an avenue for students interested in the field of AI to win prizes, make meaningful industry contacts, and contribute to the AI talent workforce for Canadian employers. @ Canada

2019 NATIONAL BTM STUDENT COMPETITION – WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), ITAC BTM Forum, and ITWorld Canada are pleased to announce the winners of this year’s National BTM Student Competition:
1st Place - Wilfrid Laurier University
2nd Place - Concordia University
3rd Place - Simon Fraser University
