It was a BIG tincture-making day around here! We put up 11½ gallons to begin their long steep, including a brand-new addition to our tincture lineup: TAMARIND!

Tamarind has a long history of traditional use and is packed with naturally occurring plant compounds, including flavonoids and other polyphenols. Research into tamarind suggests potential benefits including,

🌿 Supports a healthy inflammatory response
🌿 May support healthy blood sugar metabolism

And yes… that entire bottom shelf is Wild Lettuce. 😂 There’s a reason we keep so much on hand. It’s one of our most popular tinctures!

Wild lettuce has a long history of traditional use for pain relief and relaxation and is sometimes nicknamed “opium lettuce” or “lettuce opium.” It contains compounds such as lactucin and lactucopicrin that have shown pain-relieving and sedative effects.

🌿 Our tincture “holding” closet is getting an alphabetical upgrade!

What started as a few jars has quietly turned into shelves lined with dozens and dozens of herbs, roots, berries, flowers, and mushrooms, all slowly working their magic while they steep. Each jar is carefully labeled, dated, and given the time it needs before it ever reaches a bottle.

Organization may not be glamorous, but with this many tinctures in progress, it’s the difference between a peaceful herbal apothecary and absolute chaos.
