We’re excited to launch the first digital locker site for the BoatUS Foundation’s nationwide Life Jacket Loaner Pilot Program.
Now live at Sandy Point State Park, our new life jacket digital locker makes borrowing a life jacket quick and convenient through an easy digital checkout process. This marks the first location in our pilot, with additional sites coming soon!

It starts with one! 🌊
This week our team joined the 📍 Carolina Coastal Federation to remove four abandoned boats From Sneads Ferry! That means real vessels pulled from real waterways by local organizations who are showing what it looks like to take action. Thank you to everyone who teamed up to make this effort possible!
The operation is part of a BoatUS Foundation-funded national initiative to remove hundreds of ADVs from coastal waterways, supported by the NOAA Marine Debris

Only two weeks left to apply to be a speaker at our Turning the Tide Summit, December 6-9 in New Orleans – applications close on June 1!
The Turning the Tide Summit is open to environmental experts, boating enthusiasts, environmental agency staff, policymakers and industry leaders. We’re shaping a program that provides resources, panel discussions and keynote addresses that focus on abandoned boats and sustainable disposal solutions for boating related waste, including fiberglass and shrink-wrap.
