September has been a busy month for weddings! I finished this month off with this nearly 3 foot long wedding cake and groom's cake this weekend.

What a fun challenge! Congratulations to the Anderson's, wishing you many happy years.

Fun facts about this order:
🔨The wedding cake isn't resting on a standard cake board, we went to Home Depot and used a 36"×10" shelf wrapped in foil.
🪨 All of the rocks on the cake were edible!

Not pictured: the top tier that slid off in transit and surgery required to fix it once I arrived at the venue. 😅

Traveling with tiered cakes is always nerve-wracking, and I'm so glad I packed my emergency supplies for this one! I've never had a cake slip en route, but as this cake was frosted with a Chantilly cream and it was a winding 30 minute drive in the Texas heat, it was bound to happen.

💍 Berry Chantilly Cake: vanilla cake soaked with a mixed berry syrup, layered with Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

I'm so excited for my twin to welcome her third baby and first boy next month! I was honored to get to create the cookies for the baby shower her sweet church threw for her.
