Welcome Maya! (She,her) Our new Associate Stylist!

Maya is a hairstylist with a love for creativity, self-expression, and helping people feel more at home in their hair.

She found her way to hairdressing while searching for a creative outlet and quickly fell in love with the artistry of the industry and the way a great cut or color can completely transform how someone feels.

Maya has a special affinity for alternative, unique, and expressive styles that feel personal to each client. Her goal is for everyone who sits in her chair to leave feeling confident, comfortable, and like the best version of themselves.

When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find Maya crocheting, paddleboarding, curating her imaginary dream life on Pinterest, or searching Denver for the perfect cup of coffee.

Qualifications:
✂️A desire for your chair to be a safe, affirming and accommodating space for marginalized communities 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️♿️
✂️kindness
✂️A desire to grow in your craft and attend continuing education
✂️1 or more years experience behind the chair
Current CO cosmetology, hairstyling or barbering license
✂️Confidence in performing short and long haircuts, and offering color services
✂️Strongly prefer Sat-Tuesday availability- these are days we are turning away clients in particular)
✂️Must be willing to maintain an active, professional social media presence
