1. Riders can focus solely on themselves without having to steer or worry about “driving”
2. This is where we can slow things down and break down our body position step by step in a controlled environment.
3. Riders can feel what each change they make does to the horse without any extra arena distractions and can do exercises you normally wouldn’t be able to while holding the reins
Bonus reason: I don’t have to yell as loud for our riders to hear me! 😂
He’ll never admit it…but we know he loves his lesson horse duties!

Yesterday I was finally able to get back on the Queen herself! It made me so happy! This horse has the best work ethic and she is so happy to be back in work!

Today we had a wonderful IEA practice and got to share it with some new members! It was so good none of us remembered to take pictures 😂 Twisted R Equestrians is looking forward to our first show in November!
We don’t have a big fancy arena, just a nice flat area of the pasture. Sometimes that means that Mr. Nosey wants to come check out what’s going on!
