FreeStyle Marketing
FreeStyle Marketing offers affordable, custom marketing plans for small businesses across Kansas.
Possibly the hardest stage of any project: this one. đ
Itâs finished. Itâs been sent. And nowâŚI wait for feedback. đ
This is a project Iâve been working on for months â filming, editing, tweaking, second-guessing, tweaking again, and trying to make every piece feel just right.
I canât show you whatâs hiding behind that blur quite yet, but I can say itâs easily become one of my favorite projects Iâve worked on.
Iâm really proud of this one.
Now, fingers crossed they love it as much as I do â because I cannot WAIT to share the finished piece. đ¤

One of the easiest ways to improve your marketing?
Answer your phone.
Respond to messages.
Reply to reviews.
Follow up with leads.
Most businesses are so focused on getting more customers that they overlook opportunities already sitting in their inbox.

Stop comparing your small business to national brands.
You have something they donât:
â Personal relationships
â Community ties
â Local trust
â Authenticity
The goal isnât to look like a giant corporation.
The goal is to lean into what makes your business unique.

MYTH: âI donât have anything interesting to post.â
Reality: Youâre too close to your own business.
Things you do every day that customers find interesting:
⢠How you make your product
⢠How you choose inventory
⢠Behind-the-scenes operations
⢠Common mistakes people make
⢠Your story
Whatâs ordinary to you is often fascinating to your customers.

Before spending money on advertising, ask yourself:
Can customers easily:
â Find my website?
â Call me?
â Understand what I do?
â Read my reviews?
â Find my hours?
Advertising amplifies whatâs already there.
If your foundation isnât solid, youâre just paying more people to experience a confusing customer journey.

Not sure what to post?
Start by answering customer questions.
What do customers ask you every day?
⢠Pricing?
⢠Process?
⢠Timeline?
⢠Product recommendations?
⢠Common mistakes?
Congratulations.
You now have your next month of content ideas.

Your logo is not your brand.
Your brand is:
â How customers feel when they work with you
â The experience you provide
â The reputation youâve built
â The promises you keep
A beautiful logo canât fix a poor customer experience.
But a great customer experience can overcome an average logo.
⨠New Brand. New Website. Same Incredible Mission.
One of my favorite parts of what I do is helping organizations tell their story in a way that reflects the impact they have on the people they serve.
Iâm excited to share the launch of the new logo and website for Avenues for Change!
This project included not only a refreshed online presence, but also a brand identity designed to better represent hope, growth, transformation, and the journey forward. Every element was thoughtfully created to reflect the organizationâs mission and make it easier for those seeking services, resources, and support to find the information they need.
A strong brand is more than a logo, and a website is more than a digital brochure. Together, they help tell a story, build trust, and connect people with important resources.
Thank you to the Avenues for Change team for trusting FreeStyle Marketing with this project. It was an honor to help bring your vision to life.
Check out the new look and website and see how this organization is creating positive change in our communities.

If your phone number is hard to find on your website, youâre losing customers.
If your hours arenât updated on Google, youâre losing customers.
If people have to message you to find basic information, youâre losing customers.
Convenience wins.
The easier you make it for customers to do business with you, the more likely they are to do business with you.

Should businesses put pricing on their website?
My answer: Usually, yes.
Customers are researching before they ever contact you. If they canât find any information about cost, they may move on to a competitor.
Now, every business is different. Some services require custom quotes.
But even a starting price, price range, or âprojects typically start atâŚâ can help build trust and qualify leads.
Would you rather answer questions from people who know youâre in their budget or spend time quoting people who were never a fit?
