Broom Tree Portrait Studio

For all of the new faces here, a little introduction to what we do. 🤍

I have always loved creating portraits that are a little outside of the ordinary.

Sometimes that means a beautiful gown and something straight out of a fairytale. And sometimes it means a heavily beaded gold dress, an ornate handmade crown, and a portrait that feels a little more unexpected.

Royal portraits don’t have to be traditional.

They can be elegant. Dramatic. Whimsical. Bold. Quiet and composed. And most importantly, they can still feel like the child in front of my camera.
That’s the kind of portraiture I love creating.

A little fine art. A little childhood magic. And, of course, plenty of room for personality.

Just a few December dates remain for Royal Portrait Experiences and custom sessions before we close our calendar for the season. New dates won't open again until March.

Since we have so many new faces here lately, I thought I’d introduce you to one of my favorite things we do at Broom Tree… our Royal Portrait Experience! ❤️

Royal is where we get to create something just for YOUR child.

Maybe it’s an oversized crown of flowers (because why not?! 😉🌸), a beautiful gown, or a look you’ve been dreaming of for your little one. We’ll plan the details together during your design consultation, choosing from our studio’s collection of beautiful backdrops, gowns, and accessories to create portraits that feel completely their own.

And the experience starts before portrait day even arrives…

Your child will receive a personalized, wax-sealed invitation in the mail, inviting them to their very own Royal Portrait Experience. 💌

Then comes the pampering! On portrait day, we’ll help with hair and makeup, get them dressed in their chosen gown, add those finishing touches, and make sure they feel every bit as special as the occasion deserves.

It’s a whole experience created around celebrating YOUR child — with beautiful portraits to remember it by. ❤️

And for those of you who have been waiting, I have some exciting news…

Our December Royal Portrait Experience calendar is officially OPEN! ✨

As we move into 2027, our Children’s Chapters will have their own dedicated seasons, which means we’ll be opening the calendar for Royal and Custom Portrait Experiences just 3–4 times throughout the year, in between Chapters.

December is your last opportunity for a Royal Portrait Experience until March 2027!

A limited number of December dates are available. You can find all the details and reserve your experience by inquiring through the website.
