YMCA facilities are about more than just a place to exercise! They’re places where communities come together.

The Orr Family Sky Trail & Avery Pavilion at Twin Lakes Family YMCA is a great example of this. The newest addition to the site features a ropes and climbing adventure course, a flexible event space, and a deck overlooking the adjacent pond.

Designed for adventure and connection, this addition strengthens YMCA Camp Twin Lakes as a community hub.

Construction is set to begin on Vantage Point Properties, The 906!

This 259-unit apartment complex will be located on the corner of Waterman and Washington and will feature amenities such as a swimming pool, pickleball courts, parking garage, fitness center and so much more!

Schaefer is excited to contribute to the continued growth of Downtown Wichita!

Congrats to Wichita Children's Home on the groundbreaking of the Center for Children’s Healing and Maternity Group Home!

Schaefer has a long history with Wichita Children's Home, dating back to 2013 when we completed a master plan for their campus. That vision led to 70,000 square feet of new construction across three buildings, creating a safe and welcoming place for Wichita’s youth.

Wichita Children’s Home is continuing its mission with the Center for Children’s Healing, a transformative space dedicated to addressing the effects of childhood trauma, violence, grief, and loss.

The WCH Maternity Group Home will also relocate to the campus, providing supportive amenities and resources for young families.

We’re grateful to have been part of the process, from planning and design to supporting fundraising efforts. We are excited to see this beautiful space become a resource for children and families for years to come.
