Never Forget. On Patriot Day, members of the cadet battalion joined together to complete a push-up for every one of the 2,977 people who died as a result of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Busy weekend to get a head start for the semester. Cadets that are in the Kansas Army National Guard, and some traditional ROTC cadets, completed a drill weekend around campus learning land navigation and tactics.

Congrats to third year cadet, Peter Martell, on graduating from The Air Assault School!

We welcomed some of the freshman class to campus today so they could meet their new classmates and cadre. This is a great group and they have a bright future with the Shocker Battalion!

Shout out to junior cadet Loudan Hicks for placing 5th in the hammer throw at the American Athletic Conference track and field championships in Denton, Texas. He threw the hammer 57.79m or 189’7”. 💪
