Etched Copper.
It's several steps and a whole "other mess" than what I'm used to. In the middle of making a batch, I think, "Why am I doing this?"
And then ... after the final polish and buff ... I remember.

One thing I love about having a booth at art and craft fairs is meeting other vendors. At one of my very first in 2019, a young lady was selling her paintings across from me. She found me again at another show, and then we met again someplace else and before you know it we were friends!
I have loved seeing Tarah Clark 's creativity evolve into the stunning pieces she paints today with her distinctive acrylic and India ink style.
This weekend she will be at Autumn and Art in Wichita as ... drum roll please ... the Featured Artist! That's her painting on the official poster for the event. If you have a chance, go visit her booth this weekend. She would love to chat with you and share the beauty of her creations with you.
A week from Saturday!! Watch this closely ... you might catch a glimpse of yours truly. đŸ˜‰ I'll be there on September 19 ... hope you will be too!

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Sunflower Market on Saturday in spite of the heat and stopped to chat or shop. You made my day, and made the heat bearable!
