There's nothing better than pulling into your campsite, getting set up, and enjoying the weekend.
The last thing anyone wants is to spend their trip chasing electrical problems, AC issues, plumbing leaks, or unexpected repairs.
A little maintenance before you hit the road can make a big difference in how your trip goes.
Hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy some time outdoors this week. Travel safe, and if your RV needs a little attention before your next adventure, I'm always happy to help.

This is what a burned-out capacitor looks like.
When a component like this fails, it can keep your RV from working the way it should. One video shows what we found, and one shows the new capacitor installed and ready to go.
Every repair starts with figuring out what's actually causing the problem. That's why taking the time to diagnose the issue matters.
If something on your RV isn't working the way it used to, don't ignore it. Sometimes catching a problem early can help prevent a much bigger repair later.

This customer had an older RV water heater that had finally reached the end of its life.
The challenge? They don't even make this model anymore.
That doesn't always mean you're out of options. In many cases, there's a replacement that can be installed with a little planning and the right modifications.
Every RV is a little different, and sometimes finding the solution is the biggest part of the job.
If you've been told a part is obsolete or unavailable, don't assume your RV can't be repaired. There may be another way.

One of my favorite parts of this job isn't fixing RVs...
It's seeing people get back to enjoying their trip.
Whether you're parked for the weekend or traveling across Texas, the goal is the same, spend less time worrying about repairs and more time making memories.
Thanks to everyone who trusts me with your RV. I appreciate every call.

💡 RV Tip of the Week
Did you know your RV air conditioner can lose efficiency simply because the coils are dirty?
Restricted airflow makes your A/C work harder, cool less effectively, and can even shorten the life of the unit, especially during a Texas summer.
A quick inspection and routine maintenance can help keep your RV cooler and may help you avoid more expensive repairs later.
Have a question about your RV? Feel free to reach out.

No two RV repairs are ever exactly the same.
Some jobs take a few minutes to diagnose. Others take a little detective work before you find what's really causing the problem.
That's part of what I enjoy about this work. Every RV has its own story, and there's always something new to learn.
Thanks to everyone who continues to trust me with their RVs. I appreciate every call and every opportunity to help keep you on the road.

This customer got one heck of a fireworks show under his trailer when he plugged it in! Seems Jayco must have ran out of cord clamps, so they decided to pinch the power cord between the floor and the frame! Impact rv repair saved his week long trip at the beautiful

One of the biggest RV myths I hear?
"If it's working, don't mess with it."
The truth is, a lot of RV problems start small and don't show obvious signs until they become a bigger repair. A little routine maintenance can go a long way toward avoiding unexpected surprises on a trip.
One of the best parts of this job is helping people stay ahead of those problems so they can spend more time enjoying their RV and less time worrying about it.
What's one RV question you've always wondered about?

Had a great time putting on an RV maintenance clinic at Horseshoe Ridge in Wimberly this past weekend.
We covered common RV issues, answered questions, and talked about some of the simple things owners can do to help prevent bigger problems down the road.
One of the things I enjoy most about this business is not only repairing RVs but helping owners better understand and take care of them, too.
A big thank you to everyone who came out and spent some time with us. If your RV park, campground, or community group would be interested in hosting an RV maintenance clinic, I'd be happy to put one together.
