What a day at the CARTS Bus Roadeo!🚐❤️💙

From breakfast with the team and walking the course together to watching that first bus get ready to roll, this year’s Roadeo was full of teamwork, skill and plenty of people behind the scenes making it all happen.

Thank you SO MUCH to Lenzy Williams with Crown Consulting for showing us the course, our volunteers Ricky and Christina Browning, Zeke Childers, AND MORE! Thank you Keith Johnson and Mark Aderhold for keeping up with the scores. We’re grateful for everyone who gave their time to make the day such a success!

We wrapped things up with lunch and the announcement of our top three competitors, and we can’t wait to introduce them to you later this week!🏆

The CARTS Bus Roadeo can take our drivers far beyond Cullman!🚐

The winners of our local Roadeo will advance to the State Roadeo in Eufaula. Those who win at the state level will have the opportunity to advance to Nationals, which will be held in Atlantic City this year!

The CARTS Bus Roadeo is more than a competition. It’s an opportunity for our drivers to put the skills they use every day to the test—from safe vehicle operation and maneuvering to the knowledge, precision and professionalism it takes to serve our passengers.

Events like the Roadeo help our team sharpen their skills, build confidence and strengthen teamwork—all while celebrating the incredible drivers who keep Cullman County moving every day.❤️💙

Our honorary CARTS team member decided to help herself to a few donuts… and then made sure everyone knew, “Don’t tell anybody!” We’re not naming names just yet, but we have a feeling she may be back Friday.😉

And here’s another little FYI — punch cards are available! You can purchase a $10 or $20 punch card right from your driver or at the CARTS office. Each punch is worth $1, making it an easy way to pay for your rides without worrying about having exact change.

One of our favorite parts of what we do at CARTS is getting to spend time with our friends from the Cullman Commission on Aging.❤️

You’ll often find us taking them to and from community events, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! We love hearing about all the fun they’ve had, learning about their families, sharing a few laughs along the way, and simply getting the chance to serve them.

They bring so much joy to our buses and to our days. We’re thankful for every ride, every story, and every familiar face!🚐😊
