Pitmaster Shawn Duncan shares Australian meat tenderizing secrets and the family song.
Discovered some new music last night at the Wh**ky, waiting for Limberlost to hit the stage.
The first band we saw was The Sirens out of Seattle. Very tight, great stage presence- what a voice and their drummer took it to another level π€
The second band was a good ol' fashioned power trio from Chandler, AZ., Reckless Youth the Band. They certainly have a serious punk vibe in their music and the dude can effin' scream with the best of them.
If you haven't heard Limberlost yet, I have to ask...wtf you waitin' for? Christmas? Anchored by a rhythm section that includes Metal Hall of Fame bassist Steve Unger, this band pure rocks. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Devon Unger on guitar. What a beast! I expected him to pull out a violin bow for the Still of the Night solo, but he did not. So, that cost him one demerit. ;) Other than that, keep an ear on this guy!!! And the vocalist sang professional opera...didn't some other Metal Hall of Fame vocalist do that as well?
Check out their reels and then go check out their pages and music. You can thank me later. π€
