MADDOX are – Jak Melvin, Tyler Smythe, Elliot Smythe, Jim Taylor and Elliot Bick – a five-piece
Jak Melvin, Tyler Smythe, Elliot Smythe, James Taylor and Elliot Bick are MADDOX. A five-piece band from Hertfordshire who are nearing the completion of their debut EP ‘Now That We’re Older’. MADDOX have recently released their debut single ‘Just Like You’ which has already received airtime on BBC radio and appeared as It’s all Indies ‘track of the week’. The bands vintage Indie sound leaves crowds with feelings of nostalgia, whilst unique guitar riffs and ingenious lyrics offer up the sense of something new. MADDOX have played sell out shows at O2 Islington and also played alongside some massive names in the Indie scene, including one of the bands main influencers: The Maccabees. The future looks bright for MADDOX, who are building a large following both locally and in the capital. Check out the band’s debut single ‘Just Like You’ here: http://hyperurl.co/e3budd

The song will appear on BBC Music Introducing this Saturday at 8pm, tune in or listen back online here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002ggpr
