2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED – STOLEN GOODS RECOVERED

Sentinel Security Armed Response Officers apprehended two suspects found in possession of stolen goods from our client’s premises.

Further investigation established that the suspects attempted to forcibly gain access into the premises.

Sentinel Security Officers located the suspects and recovered the stolen goods, together with break-in implements and knives.

The suspects were apprehended and handed over to SAPS for further investigation and processing.

Well done to the Sentinel Security teams involved for their swift response and effective intervention.

STOLEN CASH RECOVERED

Sentinel Security was called to assist our client after R12,000 in cash was stolen from their vehicle.

Sentinel Security CCTV infrastructure was utilised in obtaining a description of the suspect.

Through review of CCTV footage, the suspect was identified as an employee of the client.

The individual was questioned, and the stolen cash was subsequently recovered after being concealed at a nearby location.

The employee was handed over to the client together with the recovered cash.

Well done to the Sentinel Security teams involved in the successful recovery.

SUSPECT APPREHENDED

Sentinel Security Control Room received a community call reporting suspects stealing stock from the back of a truck along Heidelberg Road in the Alrode industrial area.

Sentinel Security teams responded swiftly and apprehended one suspect.

A knife was found on the suspect’s possession, while the stolen goods were recovered and returned to the owner.

Sentinel Security urges community members to exercise caution along Heidelberg Road and Vereeniging Road, where similar incidents of criminal activity have increasingly been reported.

Local SAPS have been requested to assist with increased visible policing in the area.

Sentinel Security Bike Unit spotted a suspect stealing goods from our client's site.

The Officer detained the suspect together with additional support from Sentinel Security Armed Response teams.

The stolen goods were recovered and handed back to our client.

Well done Sentinel Security officers for the active patrols and swift response in apprehending the suspect.

HIJACKED VEHICLE RECOVERED

Sentinel Security recovered a Hyundai H100 following a vehicle hijacking with the driver being abducted.

A lookout alert was circulated, and a tip-off that the vehicle had been sighted in Soweto led Sentinel Security teams to the area.

The vehicle was successfully located and recovered. Further inspection showed that suspects fitted false registration plates in an attempt to disguise the vehicle.

The driver was subsequently located unharmed at a nearby police station.

Thank you to intelligence channels for providing the tip-off, and well done to Sentinel Security teams involved in the successful recovery.
